Key Responsibilities

• Handling a variety of legal matters across family law, property law and wills & estates.
• Managing matters with increasing autonomy while receiving mentoring and guidance.
• Attending court proceedings, mediations and client meetings, developing advocacy skills.
• Liaising with highly regarded senior counsel.
• Conducting legal research and drafting advice, pleadings, Wills and related estate legal documents and more.
• Building strong client relationships and developing a professional network.
• Working with legal technology including PEXA and Leap Legal.

Essential experience and qualifications

• A minimum of 1 years PQE to a maximum of 5 years PQE with a current NSW practising certificate.
• Previous experience in a law firm.
• 1 year of experience in at least one of the following areas: family law, property law, wills & estates.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Strong client relationship skills.

Highly Regarded Experience

• Experience in transactional property law.
• Experience drafting Wills, POAs and EGs.
• Experience with Leap Legal Software
• Experience with PEXA.
