Zoe Szetu
Zoe brings empathy, integrity, and a very diverse background to her work at Lawpoint.
Before joining Lawpoint, Zoe gained valuable experience at Women’s Legal Service NSW, supporting women affected by domestic violence. She also brings knowledge and experience in property law and wills and estates from her previous practice.
Her education and background are as impressive as they are varied. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese literature, a Master of Commerce, and a Juris Doctor degree. Zoe is also a member of the Law Society of NSW.
Zoe’s studies started in Beijing. Whilst studying, she actively advocated for the rights of people living with HIV, interviewing and sharing meals with individuals facing intense stigma and discrimination, such as prisoners and sex workers. Her advocacy was so impactful, it was featured in a local Beijing newspaper.
Aside from her legal expertise, Zoe’s strength lies in her ability to empathise and connect with people. She’s an attentive listener, who shows care and understanding for clients throughout their legal matter.
