Romeo El Daghl

Romeo is a Solicitor Director of Lawpoint. After commencing his career in law in 2000, Romeo quickly gained a reputation as a tenacious and committed advocate for his client’s interests.

Romeo has conducted numerous complex litigation matters against large and well-funded defendants. One such example of his successful work is Gregory v State of NSW 2009 NSWSC 559 where he was able to achieve compensation for a victim of school bullying almost 18 years after the event, winning the attention of national media and legal industry bodies.

Another example involved him obtaining compensation and justice for a client against her employer, the government of the United States of America, after her previous lawyers had been unable to achieve an outcome for her.

Romeo is able to execute well constructed strategies through strong negotiation skills, clarity of expression, dedication and perseverance. These skills allow him to achieve success for clients on a regular basis without the stress, time and cost associated with litigation.

Committed to thinking technically and communicating effectively, Romeo places a high priority on ensuring clients fully understand and are therefore in control of their matters. He is always personally available to clients and is at all times client focused.

Romeo has extensive experience in a wide variety of litigation matters (acting for both plaintiffs and defendants) and also across a broad range of experience in numerous other practice areas, including commercial law, family law, wills and estates, property and workplace/employment law matters.

Clients describe Romeo as “an expert negotiator, litigator and communicator (he knows how to listen)”; “highly competent, hard-working, literate, ethical and works faster and ahead of the opposing lawyers”; “an impeccable eye for detail and a genuine care factor”; “blessed with a detailed legal mind and glorious command of the English language”; they also say “the most remarkable quality of his practice is how he executes his words and strategies”; and finally “it was a very personal attention, at times living the hardship with me…… , it’s his good heart, it’s his thoroughness ,it’s his sense of humour, it’s his you come first attitude. He won my case which no others dared to take on”.
