Generalist Lawyer (5+ PQE)

We’re looking for an experienced lawyer to take ownership of quality and complex matters across litigation, family, property and estates. You’ll also have the opportunity to take on matters in other areas if that’s where your interest or experience lies.

About the Role
- Lead matters from start to finish in family, property, estate and litigation.
- Appear in court and at mediations.
- Liaise directly with clients, counsel and external parties.
- Draft advice, correspondence and court documents.
- Contribute to matter strategy and advise on risk, value and commercial outcomes.
- Work across both transactional and litigation matters, often simultaneously.
- Take ownership of your work under the supervision of a highly experienced and respected Principal.
- Collaborate with the Principal on complex matters and key client relationships.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and provide guidance and support to the team as it grows.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in private practice.
- Current NSW practising certificate.
- Strong, clear communicator who knows how to build trust.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills across varied legal contexts.
- Proven experience in family law, property law, wills and estates, litigation. Other areas are a bonus.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise independently.
- Ability to deliver legal advice in plain English.
