Behind the Briefs:
Romeo El Daghl

We asked our Principal ten questions about leadership, mentoring and the kind of lawyers who thrive at Lawpoint. His answers reveal what drives him, what he values, and what you can expect if you join the team.

Placements at Lawpoint

Start your legal career with purpose.

At Lawpoint, we offer a small number of paid Practical Legal Training (PLT) placements each year for motivated law graduates completing their admission requirements.

You’ll work directly with our Principal, gaining hands-on experience across real client matters in areas like property, wills and estates, family law and civil litigation. From drafting and research to sitting in on client meetings and court attendances, you’ll learn how to think strategically and communicate clearly – the hallmarks of a great lawyer.

If you’re completing your PLT and want to learn from experienced practitioners in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Clerkships at Lawpoint

A real introduction to practice – not photocopying.

Our clerkships give law students a genuine look at how a boutique firm operates. You’ll sit alongside our Principal, observe client meetings, contribute to research, assist with drafting, and see how strategy and care come together in practice.

We keep our clerkships intentionally small so you can ask questions, explore different areas of law, and experience what it’s really like to help clients achieve meaningful outcomes.

If you’re a final-year student who values clarity, ethics and curiosity, we’d love to hear from you.

Clerkships are offered during university breaks (Winter: June–July and Summer: November–February).
